Lovely afternoon on the plots. Cuddles with two of the Cluckula's of Hensylvania. Planted out my sweetcorn, I've also sownclimbing French beans and mixed "cut and come again" amongst the sweetcorn grid. Trying out a bit of companion planting.
Harvested some rhubarb and asparagus.oh and my first artichoke is forming, not bad considering it was rotavated over last year 😆

Couple of hours down at Hensylvania. I only said this morning that long nails wouldn't last once the growing season started again. My beautiful boy Gomez greeted me at the gate bless him and the cluckulas are back on form with 21 eggs. First harvest of rhubarb today too. Happy happy joy joy!

I've been quiet for a while but the plots are fairly ready for the new growing season. This is my mum and dad's photo sent to me yesterday, wow 12 oranges they have grown so far this year in their polytunnel down in Berkshire. I have plot envy right now lol
