Recently we refurbed this U5000 cab and modified it to a RHD to go on our customer at Lovat Farms U2450.

This lovely little pint sized U411 came in for a refurb and repair last year, it had a range of work done to bring it back to its former glory.
We designed and built a 3 point linkage and rear PTO drive, modified the hydraulics system, along with a full chassis bracing and reinforcement of the front Schmidt implement attachment plate, along with other jobs.

We love a refurb, Thank you for letting us take and post the pictures David.

We are looking for an experienced mechanic to fill a full-time position that is available due to increased business, we require someone with a “Can Do Attitude”. We have a relatively new, bespoke service centre for new and used forestry equipment, the successful applicant will have their own working bay within that building.
Knowledge of the Unimog product would be preferred but is not essential. We need to fill the gap in our team with someone who has a good work ethic, is interested in large machinery and has an eye for detail (The latter is very important). We are keen on continual staff development and training is provided where needed.

This is our own Stainless Steel Roof Rack and Axle Breathers, fabricated for our customer James who is taking some time out to travel with his wife. They are currently in Serbia and heading towards Asia, you can follow their story here - http://www.sidetrackedsagas.co.uk/

Stylish and Practical, the roof racks are designed to clamp onto SBU cabs with a high roof, the frame is modular, and made in 3 main sections, so can be easily fitted and dismantled. Specially designed clamps secure the roof rack to the gutters either side if the frame, no damage to paint or drilling of any holes through into the cab.

It’s raining here in Ingleton today, the workshop is packed full.

We have a range of vehicles in for services, another is having an overdrive installed, and a different unit having a gearbox refurb.

Apologies for the lack of Social Media posts, things have been very busy here, in the workshop and in general.

Alex (amongst juggling everything else) has been enjoying some downtime 🙄🤣 getting his hands dirty this morning, refurbishing this UG3-100 Gearbox for a U400.
