🔧 Intergas Boiler Strip Service –Intergas Heating UKWe carried out a full strip service today on an Intergas Heating UK boiler that’s been installed since 2018.

The customer contacted us after being told by a large, well-known gas company (Scottish Gas) that they no longer service Intergas boilers — despite this boiler being on a home care agreement and supposedly “regularly serviced” for years.

As expected, it became clear very quickly that it had never actually been serviced to manufacturer standards.

❌ Still had the original red front plate seal, which has been superseded for quite some time
❌ No evidence of a proper strip-down service ever being carried out

✅ Full strip clean completed
✅ Upgraded front plate seal installed
✅ Genuine full service kit fitted

We specialise in Intergas boilers — we know them inside out, what needs changing, when it needs changing, and how they should be serviced correctly.

If you own an Intergas boiler, make sure the engineer working on it actually understands these boilers. Not all boilers are the same, and not all “services” are equal.

Visited a property today with no heating and no hot water. The Grant oil boiler had broken down, was leaking, and had even started tripping the electrics.

After removing the burner, the cause was confirmed — a failed heat exchanger.

The good news? No panic needed. A brand-new boiler is being installed on Friday, getting everything back up and running safely and efficiently 😎🔥
