This newly built garden seating, beautifully circular, sunken into the terraced lawn, will more than likely host many a social gathering for centuries to come.

The gorgeous 'Iris' has been a popular garden bulb for thousands of years, due to their extensive variety of colours and dramatic looks! 😍

Their long history traces back to the Ancient Greeks, with the name Iris coming from the Greek word for Rainbow 🌈 The Greek goddess, Iris, travelled on Rainbows to deliver messages to the gods 🌅

Next time you send Irises to a loved one, keep in mind that each colour has a special meaning!

Euphorbia griffithii 'fireglow'

Slightly invasive if not kept in check but a real favourite of mine in the herbaceous border with the vivid reds and oranges. **Very toxic** The white sap can cause serious burns.
