๐ฆ Common Clothes Moths โ Small Pest, Big Damage ๐ฆ
These photos show the signs of a common clothes moth infestation discovered during a recent inspection. The small white โcasesโ and damage found within carpets and fibres are caused by moth larvae feeding on natural materials such as wool, carpets, rugs, clothing and upholstery.
Many people donโt realise they have a problem until damage has already occurred.
Signs to look out for:
โข Bald patches in carpets or rugs
โข Small cream/white larvae or casings
โข Tiny moths flying slowly around rooms
โข Damage inside wardrobes, under furniture or along skirting edges
Clothes moths thrive in dark, undisturbed areas and can quickly spread throughout a property if left untreated.
