Qualified Electrician

We are looking to recruit a qualified electrician to expand our busy team. We are a small electrical contractor based in Inverness offering a variety of domestic and commercial electrical services throughout the Highlands.

Applicants must have a working knowledge of all aspects of electrical work.

Main Duties

- Fault finding, maintenance and installations across both domestic and commercial electrical systems.

- Assess the parts needed for a job and place orders for those parts.

- To carry out work with a positive attitude and have excellent communication skills.

- To work well on your own without explicit instructions as well as working with other members of the team

Essential skills and qualifications

- SVQ level 3

- Previous electrical experience

- 18th Edition inspection and testing (17th edition will be considered if willing gain 18th)

- Working knowledge of all relevant regulations, standards, codes of practice and health & safety

- Full clean driving licence

- Excellent customer service skills

The following are desirable but not essential

- CSCS card

The law in Scotland is changing!

By February 2021 it will be mandatory for all domestic properties in Scotland to have an interlinked smoke alarm system, heat detectors and Carbon monoxide detectors.
