Aspen Design & Build Building company based in Inverness. Aspen is very much a family business, which is owned and managed by Father and son team, Duncan and Ruairidh MacArthur.

Aspen Design and Build Ltd is an Inverness based construction company established in 2001 to supply a quality design and build service to the Highlands. Originally branded as ‘Aspen Decking Ltd’ focusing on the design and build of timber garden structures, we very quickly earned a reputation for good quality workmanship and reliability. We were continually asked by our customers to design and mana

ge all types of building projects for them so we decided to rebrand as Aspen and our trading name became Aspen Design and Build Ltd. Since then we have been involved in numerous projects including; Bar-fitting, shop-fitting, commercial refits and new home construction. We believe that good design and materials are essential elements of a successful project and we approach every job from a design perspective and work closely with architects, client, and designers to deliver bespoke and innovative solutions. Very often aspen will take a project from a simple design idea on a scrap of paper from a client and deliver the completed job on time and very importantly, on budget. Our extensive knowledge of materials and modern construction methods mean that we can identify where cost savings can be made that do not necessary impact on the design integrity of a project. Our team, of highly skilled tradesmen are handpicked based on their experience and dedication to good quality work. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a comprehensive build package and carry all trades so are able to complete jobs in house, which saves both time and disruption for our clients.

On Sunday evening we took the decision to cease working and asked our staff to stay at home today to keep themselves and others safe. We will return to our outstanding jobs when we are advised it’s safe to do so. We are reviewing government help for wages and as yes there is no mechanism to access this help. The priority now is to save lives so let’s all do our bit to help.

Why are nhs workers having to line up outside supermarkets to get food when there is a huge fleet of vans and self employed drivers idle right now who could deliver to their homes. This would give the chancellor a reason to pay us . The van on the right could also be put better use once it’s been cleaned and decontaminated.
