Job Opportunity- Office Assisstant

Full time (40 hours), permanent

To help run a busy office, answering telephones, dealing with customers, organising jobs in the diary, liaising with engineers, raising jobs, filing and any other office duties.

Candidate must be reliable, well presented, punctual and willing to work. Computer skills would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

We are currently looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Candidates will be expected carry out all tasks to a high standard and be keen to progress their knowledge base.

Types of work

The below list is not exhaustive : -
- Reactive maintenance and repairs within all sectors
- Domestic works, rewires, consumer unit upgrades, EICR testing &
repairs, electric heating installations, heating controls
- Commercial/Industrial maintenance and reactive repairs

The Candidate

The successful candidates should be well versed in Electrical Inspection & Testing, specifically Domestic & Commercial EICRs with an aspect of remedial repairs as well as Commercial and Domestic Installation works. We tend not to work in the New Build sector and have more of a retrofit/reactive business model.

In house training will be provided when necessary by our Qualified Supervisor to ensure all employees are equipped with the most up to date information and procedures.

External training and qualifications will also be provided when necessary by Qualified Examiners should this be required.

Office Assisstant/Administrator

Would suit school leaver.

Full time, permanent position for Office Assistant/Administrator in busy Plumbing, Heating & Electrical Contractor's office (IV3 8EA).

No experience or formal qualifications necessary but knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel computer programs and a basic understanding of accounting/book-keeping would be an advantage. Full training will be given and formal qualifications can be offered should the successful candidate wish.

Duties once trained are, but not limited to, answering calls from customers, creating job cards, booking in work and organising work diary, processing of purchase and sales invoices, dealing with wholesalers, communicating work to engineers, basic accounting on Sage software, running payroll, filing, and any other general office duties.

Successful candidate must be friendly, motivated and eager to learn new skills.
