Just catching up on post for one of last week’s jobs.
This was a NIBE air to water heat pump that had a high pressure fault. This is usually caused by low water flow and that was true in this case.
The resolution was to flush the system to remove the blockage. This time the blockage was in the heat pump heat exchanger.
While I was there I addressed a number of other issues, leaks, external insulation saturated and immersion failed.
All work completed and system up and running again.
This was in Glenfinnan and just managed to catch the steam train in the distance from the house.
This system was flushed and is now chemical free to Standard VDI 2035
PH 8.2
TDS 180
Conductivity 145uS
Iron < 2ppm
Hardness 50ppm.
Monitoring these parameters will ensure that the system water quality is maintained to a high standard.
