One of the projects I am working on at the moment is a heat pump for a swimming pool. Heat pump also providing hot water for shower doubling up buffer as heat store when required. Finished pipework this week and wiring.
Looking forward to starting this up and seeing how it performs but will be a few weeks as waiting on pool tiling being completed. Open Energy Monitor also installed.

Second heat pump service today. This one 15 year old Daikin heat pump which had a lot of work last year to get it cleaned as it had not been serviced for years.
So much easier this year.

Heat pump service Friday. Been another busy week and nice to finish off with some repeat customers heat pump servicing. So much easier when servicing has been done annually.

I am going to call this underfloor heating week for me. 2 new builds one with underfloor heating upstairs and downstairs and another just downstairs. Challenging house 1 with not one straight wall mostly curves made more difficult using Profix plus panels so client could have a very low profile floor upstairs. Will complete 2nd house Monday ready to screed mid week.

Last week was a busy week but I love the variability of work I see in a week and also get to see more beautiful scenery of the highlands! Last week a ground source heat pump service, an air source heat pump service, solar thermal system repair a Zero Disrupt Heat Geek Design consultation and a new build underfloor heating install.
This week starts with moving forward with the first fix for a swimming pool heat pump.

Exciting new announcement for Daviot Technical Solutions this week as we become part of the HeatGeek installer network the top heat pump installer network in the UK.
A few years ago I completed the Heat Geek training which a seen as the gold standard for domestic heating but I have decided to become part of the installer network.

Been another busy week with an increase in solar thermal system repairs/ servicing to get them prepared for the summer. If you have a solar thermal system it can have a significant reduction on gas/ electric consumption to generate hot water in summer but even on clear winter sunny days.
