A wee bathroom in Dalneigh we finished up yesterday. We did this one weeks ago but went back yesterday to fit the towel rail and screen after decorating was complete. So much hidden work in the first fix of this one, when we removed the bath SIX pipes were running underneath it surface mounted on the wall, and we also had to re-route the waste underground.

Tiles from CTD (sent from another branch) and bathroom suite and furniture from Wolseley.

All works by James and myself apart from decorating of course 🤓

I love the warmth and the clients choice of colours in this room, all came together really well.

I am catching up later today although quoting is going to prove difficult after BT cut our internet a week prematurely prior to our move next week 😵‍💫 so those waiting for quotes there might be a slight delay…! I will do my best to get through what I can.

Suite from Wolseley, tiles from Topps Tiles and Collinson Ceramics.

Excuse the before photos, the sparky was so keen to get going he beat me to it 😅

This was our first bathroom of the year back in January. A lot of work in concealing all the pipework trying to reduce the amount of pipe boxes in the room. Also a fair bit of work moving plumbing around for a layout change.

Really nice wee room, clients opted for the brushed nickel on the finishings and it’s a really nice clean finish. Clients supplied their own shower, screen and towel rail. Everything else from Wolseley. Tiles were from CTD.

We went back to this job to fit a ceiling support arm and flipper panel on the screen, and when we were there we moved the mirror over a bit - a very poor decision by me to centre it on the basin without considering how close to wall it would be 🤦🏼‍♀️🤔

Been so quiet on here but that’s because we’ve been flat out 😅 what was a full schedule anyway has been hindered by material issues and reshuffling jobs around to suit so it’s been a flustered few weeks.

This is last weeks job, Drakies naturally 😒 absolute killer strip out with two layers of tiles 😓

All materials from Wolseley. Client supplied their own mirror.

I am out pricing 16th, 17th (Monday and Tuesday next week). I think(!) I have touched base with most enquiries, anyone else wanting to join the list just message on WhatsApp or email me.

For the last few folks awaiting quotes I am doing them Sunday morning I only have a handful more to get through. Anyone who has been trying to get in touch I apologise for the poor communication or lead times for a response it has been a busy wee period, and I am now in the process of getting ready to move house so it’s been a full schedule.

James has a week off next week for a well deserved holiday ☀️ and I am looking forward to trying to get on top of everything and get the calendar filling up a bit further 📅

Thanks to anyone for their patience 🙏🏻

A very small en-suite in Maryburgh this week. Probably the smallest room yet we had to carefully plan the wet wall out as no way of getting full sheets in 👀 really difficult strip out too given the size, there was 3mm wet wall on top of tiles 🫠

All materials from Wolseley.

We are now closed until January 12th 2026, I’ll be back on the 6th to catch up on a few things and will be available via WhatsApp and e-mail during this period.

Some availability in March and room for a few smaller jobs tail end of February.

Thank you to all our clients for another busy year, I’ve put together some images of our favourite projects this past 12 months.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year, and see you all in 2026.

A few photos from a job we did just before our October break which I completely forgot to post! Was a Drakies bathroom, but thankfully in an extension. All kit from Wolseley.

Very short notice for anyone needing anything done but we’ve had a last minute cancellation for the 15th Dec, very rare for us so I can’t complain too much… so if anyone needs anything done short notice just let us know and we can help. If the week ends up empty James and I won’t complain at an extended break after what has been a very non stop sort of year 😅

Messenger on here doesn’t work but I am contactable on WhatsApp.

Taking bookings for next year, January February already allocated fully I think but half of March and April available.

I’ve got a few quotes and things to get over to folks and I will be doing this on Monday after work.

Tricky one in Ashie Road this week, but hopefully it’ll make a huge difference to the customer going forward as a family member was struggling with the bath. Unusual shower screen, but the idea behind it is that the top half can be open whilst someone is in the shower if you need to assist/help someone when they’re showering. Plumbing was tricky on this one as it’s an old house with old cast wastes.

Great choices made by client, nice and fresh looking.

All materials from Wolseley, ceiling panels from Ceiling2Floor.

A reminder that messenger on here doesn’t work so get me on WhatsApp if anyone wants to get in touch.

Two crackers in Woodlands Rise, Westhill. We started these last Thursday and got them as good as finished Sunday afternoon, but back today to fit the rails and mirrors and tidy up after everything else was completed.

Great choices, not much can be done with these Barratt bathrooms in terms of layout change etc but we moved the shower bulkhead back 150mm in the en-suite to get a wider shower in which made a huge difference.

Client made great choices in the end with a good bit of help from the consultants in the Wolseley showroom. The “brassware” is all gunmetal, hard to tell from the images but it is a really classy finish, and our first time installing gunmetal features.

We are now on a weeks break, but anyone who is waiting for quotes or anything don’t worry the laptop is coming to Santa Ponsa with me! I will get back to everyone as soon as I can over the next few days.

We’ve finally caught up with a huge back log and are now looking by to fill the calendar for the end of the year and into January February March.

It has been a genuinely mental 8 weeks, so thanks to anyone who has been patient with delayed responses to enquiries. Grateful as ever for James for the insane amount of graft he puts in don’t think many folk realise what goes in to such a large volume of projects in an 8/9 week period when the bulk of it is completed by the two of us. Also very grateful to Wolseley for their patience and efficiency with everything, thanks also to our subcontractors for decorating, electrical works and waste disposal.

A small break then back to it for the Christmas run in!

☀️ 😎
