Highland Huts

Another Highland Huts build delivered - this time all the way to Rousay, Orkney.

This custom-built hut made the journey north with Highland Lift & Shift, who handled the transport through to the Orkney mainland. From there, JM Tucker HIAB and Haulage, Orkney took over for the final leg to Rousay and the lift into place at the customer’s property.

A big thank you to Orkney Ferries as well for helping us get everything over to the island.

A bit more of an adventure than usual, but great to see it safely delivered to its new home!

Long before Highland Huts became a business, Dad began building shepherd’s huts. 🔨 This was one of his earliest builds, and it’s still looking right at home welcoming guests in Abriachan. It’s great to see that the quality of his work has stood the test of time.

It’s great to finally have our new Highland Huts business cards in hand!

A small detail, but another exciting step forward as we continue building bespoke shepherd’s huts for customers across Scotland.

Why not book a night in one of our previous bespoke shepherd’s hut builds?

The customer has now completed and styled the interior, and it looks absolutely amazing. They’ve created a warm, characterful space that shows just how much can be achieved with one of our bespoke builds.

At Highland Huts, we can supply a fully insulated shell ready for you to finish in your own style, or complete the interior, fittings and decoration before delivery.
