Spray Foam Applications for Retrofit and New Builds...

Icynene insulation is a soft water blown spray foam insulation, its 100% water blown so contains no harmful agents, when applied it expands 100 times its original volume in 4-10 seconds filling all voids, this creates an air tight building eliminating draughts and heat loss.

Icynene is suitable for both new builds and retrofit projects...

Here a standard 145mm kit is brandered out by 50mm; the foam is sprayed directly to the racking board and expands within seconds to fill between the studs and flash over the stud faces. This minimises cold bridging to give best thermal performance...

Once the foam cures - which takes a few seconds - the excess is trimmed and the faces of the brander exposed, ready for the joiners to fix 38mm uprights (offset from the studs) creating a service void and a low-emmisivity airspace, to be sheathed with foil-backed plasterboard.
