Recently I've been inundated with potential fraud calls on my phone, and also being told it's been hard to get through to me via phone call. I suspect somewhere along the line, genuine calls are being tagged with the potential fraud flag, so if you do have a problem reaching me, please text me via sms, messenger or WhatsApp. Thank you.

I'm back. Still sticking to just doing jobs at home, but I'll be up to full speed soon.

Here's an update of the epic story. I'm a week out of hospital after open heart surgery to remove "Brian" the tumour (benign, we think) and allegedly, I have 5 more weeks before being good to go. I'm keen to get back to work, with this recovery nonsense not only being painful but also really, really boring, not to mention me being allergic to being skint.
So, that was it, really. Now I have 5 more weeks of shovel loads of pills and learning how to walk past increasing numbers of lamp posts, then I'm back!

Hello, everyone. You all may have seen that I'm still not readily available and I'm here to explain why and ask that you might bear with me as I'm not done yet. Anyone who knows me will have seen me getting weaker, using a walking stick and aging an awful lot over a short space of time, especially since having pneumonia and pleurisy (twice). Well I got fed up with the silly excuses GPs were coming up with and got myself seen at a hospital where "masses" (and I'm not even catholic) were found on my lung and heart. They've already looked at the lung with a "oh its just really small and you'll hardly notice it" camera (yeah right) and pretty much ruled out cancer, with it being mostly left over stuff from the pneumonia.
My heart has essentially, a big flappy bit in one of the chambers that doesn't belong, and whilst these things are mostly benign it still has to come out, as it looks like its probably the root cause of all my health issues. This means open heart surgery in the next fortnight or so, which may interfere with my ability to fix PCs. I do still want to have a job to come back to (I'm too damn stubborn to die) eventually, so please, stick with me, watch this space and like Arnie, I'll be back!

Hello everyone. You may have noticed some difficulty in contacting me over the past week. I've not been well (aww). In fact, so not well, I'm in the hospital now, with things sticking in me. Not to worry, though, it looks like just an infection of something or other, and they've already started with the antibiotics. Fingers crossed in another week, I'll be back, but til then, bear with me

Website's down again, sorry. Vistaprint being the incompetant fools that they are are apparently "working on it", so more than likely, that's the last we'll see of that

29/01/2023

As some of you may have noticed already, my website is down. This is because Vistaprint passed on the management of websites to Wix who have promptly bo****ks it up. I'm currently banging my head against a brick wall.....errr, I mean talking to them, to get it back. Progress is slow and painful.

Here's a non-computer related post I'm hoping someone can help me with. We recently lost our wee westie dog, Murdo, and since his passing have realised there's a westie shaped hole in our lives that needs to be filled. Thing is, try as we might, we can't find anyone who breeds westies (or cairn terriers either) in the whole of Scotland, let alone in Aberdeenshire. If anyone knows of anyone who could help, please give us a shout. We used to think he drove us mad, but realise now, he was keeping us sane.
Thanks.

I am Negative! Covid-wise that is, not just my general outlook. I'll be available from Monday onwards. Thanks for everyone's patience.

14/03/2022

I had hoped to be back in action by today but I'm still positive for covid. I'll post again once I'm clear (hopefully in the next week or so, its already been ten days). Thanks everyone, in the meantime, for your patience.
