A number of windows repaired and redecorated on this wonderful house through the summer last year for a regular customer. Taken back to bare timber in most places, 95% of putty replaced.

Lots of timber repairs and lots of . New Sills made by myself from local oak.

All painted using the Ultra Primer/ Classic system, colour matched to F&B Hardwick Grey. With the Stone Sills finished in Finngard Silicone Protect.

Here's a small collection of images showing some repairs I carried out on a number of Dormer windows in the summer for a returning customer.
Various repairs were carried out including replacing top capping, fitting dew detailing, replacing rotten cladding & making and fitting new curves to the fascias. I'll share more photos of other areas of this project in the future.

was used throughout this project to help ensure the same issues don't reoccurr.

The windows are fascias were finished in Dulux Solvent Based Opaque which surprisingly is actually a lovely paint use and leaves a great finish too.

The cladding was finished in Tikkurila Valtti Opaque.

Another job completed last year, the spec for this small dining room from the customer was to get it looking as good as possible, take my time and make sure it's right. Which is always music to my ears. That's exactly how I like to work but obviously budgets don't always allow for it.

Ceiling cracks from joins in plasterboard were raked out, filled with fill flex and then skrim taped and skimmed using the MultiLight filler applied by roller.

Unfortunately after all the prep was done and I started painting the walls, the large back wall decided to shed a bit of plaster and as I scraped it all ended up coming off😂 so it got stripped back, filled, stabilised and lined with wall rock.

Even simple rooms for me never turn out to be simple 🤣

Some of you will recognise this truly wonderful front door I had the pleasure of restoring back in the summer of 2023.

After living with it for a while the customers decided the previous finish wasn't quite right so I returned at the end of summer last year to have another go and really give it the wow factor.

Out with the semi gloss finish and in with the full Miranol shine.

My first gloss door and it turned out amazing, tackling a high gloss door is not for the feint of heart, especially in a dark colour like this. It is however 100% worth all of the many hours of prep and serious stress during application of the paint.

You simply can't beat a high gloss finish for a statement front door.

It has dulled down slightly but 6months or so later and it's still looking great 🤌

Shout out to the main man for his guidance on this one, Miranol is definitely a specialist paint and without the right tips and tricks would be an absolute nightmare to use 😂

Gorgeous dining room completed before Christmas for a regular customer. Put A LOT of work into this room to completely transform the space, felt never ending at times but 100% worth it. Unfortunately I was so engrossed in what I was doing in here I didn't get too many before or during shots but the beauty of the finished room makes up for that 🤩

Little Greene Slaked Lime on the ceiling, freize & picture rail as well as the windows and doors.
Rolling Fog on the Walls with Rolling Fog Dark on the dado rail and below.

I also fitted coving and new skirting boards as part of the transformation.
