Structural work in progress 👇

Chimney removal paused after discovering it was supporting floor joists.

Work was stopped immediately and structural calculations were arranged.

Now completed correctly in line with requirements ✔️

Sometimes during renovation works, you uncover things that weren’t visible at the start 👀

While removing this chimney, we identified that part of the structure was supporting the floor joists – something that wasn’t clear before opening it up.

Work has been safely paused while we wait for updated structural calculations to ensure everything is done correctly and to regulation.

No shortcuts – safety and proper workmanship always come first ✅
