A few years back, we took on a project in the heart of northeast Coventry – the revitalisation of Henley Green Medical Centre. Originally built to house industrial workers during the city's boom, the centre was in need of a major facelift to keep up with the upcoming redevelopment wave.

The 1980s single-storey medical centre got a modern makeover with a second storey addition and a complete revamp. JMS stepped in to handle structural design, drainage, and highway works, ensuring the project stayed on budget and on schedule.

Out with the old piles, in with a vibro compaction scheme! The result? A revamped building that not only honours its community roots but also expands and modernises to enhance services, customer experience, and overall well-being.

JMS took great pride in participating in this project - a brand-new therapeutic community centre, purpose-designed with a focus on quality spaces, materials, and design principles. Overcoming challenges at the Nuneaton site, our specialist foundation design enabled quick offsite assembly using SIPs.

Completed, it provides short-term residential care for children with emotional and behavioural disorders. JMS Engineers have been announced as the winners in the small non-residential category at the esteemed ProCon Awards in Leicestershire for their exceptional work in revitalising the Lutterworth Museum. The original museum posed a unique challenge in exhibiting the iconic Spitfire engines crafted by the renowned RAF engineer, Sir Frank Whittle.

Undeterred, the JMS Engineers team, based in the Midlands, met the challenge head-on. They delivered innovative civil and structural designs for a tailor-made building that not only effectively displayed historical artifacts but also integrated a visitor-friendly café and expansive office spaces.

For this prestigious project in St. George's Hill, Weybridge, our client turned to JMS for structural and civil engineering expertise. This luxury mansion on the St. George's Hill estate boasts 12,500 sq ft of living space, including five bedrooms, three pools, a gym, sauna, and steam room.

JMS collaborated with Blue Sky CAD Ltd Architectural Consultants to provide detailed structural and civil engineering designs, including the basement housing two pools.
