Small leak which got worse within days.

A faulty basin waste pipe which leaks, and causes water damage, customer has tried to contain the leak for several days. After it got worse I attended property and inspect the issue notice it was coming from boss which connects to toilet waste. Removed toilet and Lino without causing any damage. Replaced boss and pan connector and reinstalled both toilet and Lino just like no one’s attended. Customer now has a fully working basin and toilet, leak free.

The customer previously had a leaking sink with outdated taps for several years which also was odd taps. They decided to replace it with a similar design, installing new taps with lever handles to allow for easier operation

During the visit, the existing single panel radiator was replaced with a chrome towel rail

Customer had issue with turning temperature on old bath/shower mixer, which had been repaired before and wanting to upgrade to nice new modern one with fitted head aswell as hand held. 💧👨‍🔧🛁

2nd shower was repair aqualisa smart digital not working with the boost and cutting out. This is a part still under warranty due to being a year old after replacing control unit everything working as it should🚿

This typically happens in cold weather when the external section of the condensate pipe freezes, blocking the flow of acidic wastewater away from the boiler. One effective way to unfreeze the pipe is by carefully pouring hot (not boiling) water from a kettle over the frozen section, starting from the boiler end and working outward. The heat from the water gently melts the ice inside the pipe, restoring normal flow and allowing the boiler to restart once the blockage is clear.
