Yet another wonderful transformation.
These aged oaks and the red brick inglenook fireplace were in need of a serious clean.
The cottage had suffered a fire on the 1st floor and water damage from the fire fight had left the beams sodden for months, this created perfect conditions for mould to spawn over almost every inch of the beams.
The inglenook fireplace was also brightened up.. because.. the pictures explain why 😊

This 40ft lashing cage (marine offshore man basket) was manufactured and sprayed by an engineering company, who unfortunately suffered a negative chemical reaction between the primer and top coat of paint in the form of wrinkling and bubbling, needless to say the only solution was to remove both layers and start again.
After making a start on that task with grinders and wire brushes, the client decided to give us at Asnew a call.
From 2 men cleaning a few inches here and there in a day before we arrived, the client was pleasantly surprised at our speed and productivity once we got started, and even happier once we’d finished.
They were able to get it re-coated and shipped off to their paying customer.

One of our recently completed jobs for a nice client in suffolk.
He was delighted with the results we produced and was also very grateful for the multiple weeks worth of time in manual labour he saved himself by calling us in.

Here we cleaned a combination of aged oak beams, water stained and sun greyed new oak beams and painted/dirty soft red brickwork, using different grades of blasting media and fine tuning our settings as required to deliver the ASNEW finish.
