Nothing to report from yesterday… mainly because the lads have worked so hard they didn’t get round to pics.👏

Ali has fully embraced his role and is now only one dirt track away from entering the Safari Rally. 😆 Oliver has been making friends with the locals, although at this rate we’re not sure if he’s coming home or being adopted.

The whole team has done an amazing job — graft, laughs, questionable driving skills, and a few new friendships along the way. 💪🌍

Day two in Tanzania for Ali and Oliver! 🇹🇿

No easing into the day today — it kicked off with a rescue mission after someone managed to stall in a rather impressive puddle. And no, it wasn’t Ali this time! 😂

The locals have been amazing, even building a ladder so Ali can get himself into the water tank. Fingers crossed he fits! The rest of the day is all about getting the water tanks connected and making good progress on site.

Plenty of laughs, teamwork, and hard graft. 💪💧

The Day 1 Rundown:

• Tank Duty: Hauling massive water tanks up the hill—no easy feat in that heat! 🧗‍♂️💧

• The Puzzle: Planning out the pipework, sumps, and drainage through some seriously tricky terrain. 📏

• The View: Hard to beat the Tanzanian backdrop, even if the scaffolding is a bit... "adventurous!" 😂

So proud to see the Smart Heating Solutions team putting their trade expertise to work for such an incredible cause. 🚜💨

A different kind of start to the week for Ali and Oliver 🌍✈️

This week they’re out in Tanzania, giving up their time to help with plumbing works for a truly worthwhile project — installing toilets and showers for the local community.

We’re incredibly proud to see members of the Smart Heating Solutions team using their skills to make a real difference beyond the day-to-day job. 💚

Wishing them the best of luck for the rest of the trip — we can’t wait to see the impact they make! 🙌

Another install wrapped up 🙌🏻

Harrison on the pipework, Bradley on the lagging - and considering he only started with us on 1st April, the finish on this is a real credit to him.

People underestimate how much good insulation matters. Done right, it keeps the system efficient and the pipework protected for years.

The government has just made a major change that’s great news for homeowners on oil or LPG heating 👇

💷 The grant for switching to a heat pump has now increased to £9,000

👉 What this means:

• A much lower upfront cost to upgrade your heating
• Cheaper running costs compared to oil & LPG
