Another traditional hand-cut roof completed by the team in Felixstowe.

This wasn't your average roof. To achieve perfect symmetry, we stripped back the original rear gable and completely reformed the internal valley. Every detail was carefully designed and set out before a single piece of timber was cut.

Our team carried out the full roof design, templated and installed the cranked structural steelwork, ensuring all steel remained hidden within the roofline for a clean, traditional finish.

The completed roof features:
• 4 hand-cut hip rafters
• 1 valley rafter
• 1 bespoke box gutter
• Intricate sprocket detailing to perfectly recreate the gentle sweep of the roof as it meets the fascia line

Like every roof we build, this one was cut and assembled the traditional way – with hand saws, hammers and around 10kg of hand-driven nails, combined with modern structural fixings, bolts and hangers to meet today's engineering standards.

✨ Another fantastic project completed in Martlesham! ✨

We're delighted to hand over this beautiful transformation to another happy client.

This project completely reimagined the ground floor of the home, creating a bright, spacious open-plan living area that's perfect for modern family life.

The works included:
- 🏡 Removal of the existing chimney stack to create a large open living space.
- 🔨 Construction of a stunning vaulted roof with skylights to flood the room with natural light.
- 🚪 Installation of aluminium bi-fold doors and flush casement windows.
- 🪵 Bespoke media wall with hidden access to a secret children's playroom.
- 🚪 New oak internal doors throughout the ground floor.
- 🪵 Oak click LVT flooring installed throughout.

Outside, we transformed the garden by:
🌿 Laying a beautiful sandstone path and patio. 🧱 Removing the original boundary wall and constructing a new matching brick wall further out, creating a much larger and more usable garden space.

Big progress on our Ipswich project today 💪

All steel prep completed and the structural walls safely removed, including 2 large precast concrete lintels. A job like this takes careful planning, precision and solid teamwork from start to finish.

Thanks to the team’s experience and safe working practices, the demolition process and lintel removal went smoothly and efficiently 👏

Now the space is really starting to open up and the transformation can begin.

Another successful transformation completed in Ipswich 🔨✨

Before and after photos

This project came to us through a returning client and long-time friend of the business, with one key requirement — the property had to be started on a fixed date and fully turned around within just 2 weeks.

From purchase to rental-ready in 14 days. ✅

We carried out a full renovation throughout the property, including:
• Full strip out
• Brand new bathrooms installed
• New kitchen fitted
• Replacement flooring and carpets throughout
• New internal doors
• Full redecoration from top to bottom
• Basic landscaping and garden tidy-up works

The end result is a clean, modern and low-maintenance home ready for tenants immediately.

Another transformation complete for one of our favourite returning customers 🙌

The goal for this project was simple: take an underused space and turn it into something both practical and visually stunning. We created a dedicated planting area perfect for growing vegetables, while also raising the levels from the existing patio to improve drainage—eliminating water pooling and removing that awkward step straight out of the front door.

The finished result speaks for itself 👇
• 6x9 Indian sandstone slabs for a clean, premium look
• EasyJoint for a crisp, durable finish
• Solid oak sleepers forming raised flower & vegetable beds
• Finished with striking black ice stone edging for that extra contrast

A space that was once wasted is now functional, low-maintenance, and ready to grow 🌱

4 weeks on site in Martlesham and this extension is really taking shape 👌

We’ve powered through all the groundwork to get to this stage — site prep, drainage, rainwater runs, patio prep, footings and slab are all complete. The structure is now up to roof plate and looking 🔥

Scaffolding goes up in the morning, and we’ll be starting the hard cut roof tomorrow afternoon — one of the most exciting stages of the build!
