We are delighted to announce the promotion of Haydn Simpson to Mechanical and Electrical Contracts Manager!

Haydn has worked at DPL Group for the last 2 years. Previously serving as our Senior Electrical Project Manager, he has proven himself to be a brilliant team player with a deep knowledge of both disciplines. His unique ability to bring our teams together has been key to our project success.

Introducing the (fancy dress) WINNERS of the 2026 Brave Futures Ipswich Dragon Boat Festival🍌🐉

On Saturday, some of the DPL team swapped their desks for paddles and took part in the Brave Futures Ipswich Dragon Boat Festival at Ipswich Waterfront. The event brought together teams from across the region to race in support of an incredible cause, raising vital funds for Brave Futures.

While we may not have taken home the trophy on the water, we won on dry land with our banana-themed fancy dress winning the fancy dress competition!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported us, cheered us on, and helped raise awareness for Brave Futures and the important work they do across Suffolk and Norfolk.

There is still time to donate and help make a difference. Every contribution helps Brave Futures continue providing specialist support to children and young people who need it most.

On Saturday, 22 DPL team members took on the Cumbrian Challenge, 27km and 1,570m of ascent 🏔️

They did it for Walking With The Wounded, a brilliant charity helping those who have served rebuild their lives through support, employment and ongoing care.

Together, the team managed raise an amazing £8,108.63 and counting!

We did this in aid of Suffolk Mind and Mental Health Foundation, two amazing charities providing support, resources and advocacy for mental health everyday.

It was a great way to come together as a team and raise awareness.
