BOB’S GUIDE 🔴 Concealed hinges with the Festool DOMINO. 🔥

Who said the DOMINO was just for joinery? 👀

Here’s a simple way to cut in a concealed hinge on cabinet doors using the Festool DOMINO. No fancy jig, no overcomplicating it — just accurate marking and a few controlled cuts. 👌

🪚 Here’s the method:

1️⃣ Mark the centre line of your hinge.
2️⃣ Mark 9.25mm either side of that centre line.
3️⃣ Cut 20mm deep on the centre line.
4️⃣ Then make your 5mm deep cuts either side, lining up the 9.25mm marks with the centre line on the DOMINO.

And that’s it. Clean, simple and job done. ✅

Hina Bokhari OBE AM LBC Radio How on earth was this even discussed. First of Hina, I think you should be banned from carrying out investigations/reports! I’m sure that used up a fair amount of tax payers money!!!
I think we’re all really curious, who did you ask when you did the investigation? People who hate builders and white vans???

Slightest bit of common sense and PROPER research would have saved you the amount of backlash you are going to get.

It’s understandable for trades people that have a fixed site or workplace to use bikes as they don’t need to carry tools or materials.
It’s understandable for handy men who carry a small bag to operate from cargo bikes!
HOWEVER, it’s NOT understandable for every other trade to operate from a cargo bikes!!!

Also don’t lie about you consulting with construction companies. NONE of them would agree that trades can operate from cargo bikes.

I am a tradie and the founder of Builders On Bikes , I think I’ve got a pretty good idea of what I’m talking about.

A simple timber slatted screen = instant transformation.
Clean lines, natural timber and a finish tidy enough to put my name to it. 🔨

Because if you’re going to do it… DO IT PROPERLY.

L for Losers? Nah… L for LEGENDS! 😂🏆

Me and Gavin might be throwing up the L signs, but the truth is, there’s absolutely nothing “loser” about this photo.

I was a finalist in the Checkatrade Carpenter of the Year – Regional Awards, while Gavin made it to the finals of Screwfix Top Tradesperson.

Neither of us brought home the trophy this time… but when you think about the fact that we were selected from thousands of tradespeople to make it this far, that’s something we should both be bloody proud of. 👊

It’s not always about winning the trophy. Sometimes it’s about being recognised amongst the best in the industry and knowing that the graft, the long hours and everything we put into our businesses is being noticed.

Two finalists. Two massive achievements. One cracking day with good people. ❤️

Here’s to the next one… because we’re definitely not finished yet. 🔨🔥
