After some lowlife decided to help themselves to every tool in my van (last year Christmas time), I had security cages fitted. 🔒

The only problem? All of the storage solutions I’d spent years perfecting just didn’t work anymore.

So instead of patching things together, I thought… screw it, let’s do it properly.

Massive shoutout to @8.prints.studio for creating an absolutely spot-on Festool light and custom systainer rails, finished with that iconic RAL 6018 Festool green trim. 👌

Everything now has its place, the van is organised again, and if I do say so myself… this install is looking absolutely S**T HOT. 🔥

From incomplete to fully finished ✨

This staircase was missing almost the entire balustrade system — no proper structure, no clean finish, and definitely not safe.

We installed a complete new staircase balustrade including:
✔️ Baserail
✔️ Handrail
✔️ Spindles
✔️ Newel posts

Now the staircase looks how it should’ve from the start 👌 Clean, solid, modern, and fully complete.

Sometimes it’s not about changing everything — it’s about finishing the details properly. The transformation speaks for itself 🔥

There’s something proper satisfying about bringing old timber back to life.

This reclaimed White Oak has been sat waiting patiently after being salvaged from a previous job quite a while ago… now it’s finally getting its second chance.

Years of paint, wear and history being stripped away to reveal the natural beauty hidden underneath. Grain, character and details you just can’t fake.

Machined up, cleaned back and getting ready for its next lease of life. ♻️🪵

Dead space turned into proper usable space.

This understairs storage was built completely bespoke to make every inch count — clean white melamine interiors for durability and practicality, paired with spray-finished oak veneer doors and detailed with Black Meranti trims for that sharp contrast and premium finish.

No wasted corners, no off-the-shelf compromises… just smart storage built to fit the home perfectly 👌

All handcrafted from solid Sapele, machined down from rough sawn stock to a clean, precise finish. Traditional stop mortise and tenon joints, locked in with draw dowels for strength that lasts. Diagonal braces properly housed into the rails, keeping the load where it belongs — no stress thrown onto the stiles.
Proper job. Built to outlast trends.

This Nearly Went VERY Wrong… (Perfect Tongue & Groove Method)
Yes, without being click bait, I stupidly dropped the bit of timber down on the table, whilst the router was still on 😳

In this video, I’m showing you how to cut a clean, accurate tongue and groove joint using a simple groove cutter — no complicated setup, no expensive kit.

But before we get into it… things almost went sideways 😳
I’ve left the moment in at the start because it’s a reminder of how quickly things can go wrong if you’re not switched on.

Once we get past that, I’ll walk you through:

• Setting up your groove cutter properly
• Getting consistent, repeatable cuts
• How to achieve a tight, professional fit
• Mistakes to avoid (learn from mine 👀)

This is a solid method whether you’re working on panelling, cabinetry, or general joinery.
