Just a quick note to let everyone know that I’ll be on holiday from 28th August until 3rd September and won’t be available to respond to work messages or calls during this time.

It’s not been an easy decision to take some time off while things are so busy, but I feel I really need the break to recharge, especially after the past few months. Sam and I spend so much of our time working, sharing childcare as well as managing a household that we need a switch off especially before little legs goes up to year 2 💙

Phil will still be around and contactable if anything urgent comes up. Otherwise, I’ll pick everything up and respond to messages when I’m back.

Self employment is a tricky old business at times. Bombarded with emails and texts at all times of the day, everyone wants something done like yesterday especially when it’s sunny ☀️ I strive to help people as much as possible. I fit in where I can. I spend hours putting quotes together always aiming to provide the best service and to be reasonably priced at the same time. My wife will say I don’t charge enough for the quality work we offer! This week alone I’ve had three people cancel work that’s been booked in, someone else can do it sooner is the usual excuse! Our lead time is what it is because of the quality work we offer. I’m honest about availability and unless the weather impacts that we try and deliver. Please in future take into account the work that goes into quotes etc before verbally agreeing to jobs and then cancelling last minute! Another diary reshuffle awaits! 🙄

Hope you’re all enjoying the sunshine—just need that wind to calm down a bit now! ☀️

Since the good weather arrived, we’ve had a big increase in requests for quotes. We always do our best to get back to everyone as quickly as possible, and just to reassure you our quotes are completely free with no obligation.

Each quote does take a bit of time to put together, especially when we’re carefully researching materials to make sure we’re offering the best quality at the best price. When we have several to complete, it can take a little while. If you haven’t heard back within a week, please feel free to give me a gentle nudge 🙂

We’re working full-time, juggling family life, and occasionally trying to enjoy a bit of downtime too ⚽️ 🎣 🍺 so we really appreciate your patience. We kindly ask that you allow us a few days before checking in after a visit.

If you receive a quote from us and it’s not quite right for you, that’s absolutely no problem at all, we completely understand. We truly appreciate every enquiry and message. All we ask is that if we’ve taken the time to prepare a quote, a quick reply to let us know your decision would be greatly appreciated.
We’re currently booked up for the next few months, but we always try our best to fit in smaller jobs where we can, especially if someone needs a bit of help quickly.

If you’ve received a cheaper quote elsewhere, that’s completely fine we want you to choose what works best for you. We just ask that our quotes aren’t used for bargaining, as we take great pride in the quality of our work, which is reflected in our schedule.

Front entrance for very good customer of ours.Old wall removed ,footings in (very hard ground) ,new block wall faced with the finest Yennadon stone.New cobblestones laid and pointed ,new dry stone wall to retain soil levels at the back ,just awaiting render and soil
