One of our recent projects; a stunning bar top installation at the beautiful

The design featured ethereal Ambient Cemento with brass detail - elegant, modern, and timeless. It was such a pleasure working with the glorious interior designer whose clear vision and trust in our work made the process seamless. We couldn’t be happier and we’re absolutely thrilled with the final result.

Countdown to Christmas. Our diary is full to bursting for December, we have our list and we’re checking it twice to ensure all our clients are worktop ready for the big day!

To help us count down the days we made our very own own version of a Christmas calendar using beautiful crystals (that’s how we roll… and rock… sorry, couldn’t resist 🫣) one crystal for each day and each with its own properties and power! Something tells me we will need all the help we can get when we are done 💪🏼

🌟🌟🌟Ukrainian aid🌟🌟🌟

This weekend St Boswells Village Hall is a collection point for aid items, in the afternoon Friday 4th March and all day Saturday 5th March.

If you are unable to travel to St Boswells, please feel free to drop off items at our workshop on Edinburgh Road, Jedburgh (behind Border Meringues) and we will deliver to St Boswells for you. Items to be dropped in to us by 5pm Friday.

We will be donating and helping in the hall so please do help the people of Ukraine, if you are able, by donating the items listed.

Laura created an absolutely stunning kitchen with an exquisitely selected colour palette for the worktops, cabinetry and decor.

This photograph was also submitted to Period Living magazine by Laura’s lovely husband and was deservedly awarded Star Letter.

We always appreciate it when our clients send us pictures of their finished kitchens. We rarely get to see the room with all its finishing touches.
It’s got to be said that at the point we take our photo’s, justice isn’t done with the overall scheme!

Check out this months issue of 25 Beautiful Homes where our beautiful Wild West worktops can be seen in this stunning Victorian Farmhouse.

This was a complete renovation for our lovely client and boy did she nail it! A collaboration with Apostrophe Woodcraft Ltd, our worktop was the finishing touch to the classically beautiful handmade kitchen.

Our Story

Igneous Stone Surfaces specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing Granite worktops and surfaces throughout the UK. Our core competency is beautifully handcrafted granite worktops for kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms, all fabricated at our well equipped premises in the Scottish Borders by our own skilled craftsmen (and women!). Using time honoured techniques and twenty years of experience we pride ourselves on our handmade product and we let our workmanship do the talking. As manufacturers, we are able to ensure the quality of our products by managing the entire process from templating through to installation. Purchasing from us allows our customers the ability to get creative with design ideas and we relish the opportunity to be included at the design stage so that we can offer up solutions to overcome the usual headaches that come with the territory. There is no ‘cookie-cutter’ approach and every client is treated on an individual basis. The different types of work we undertake are available to see on this page and examples of some this work can be viewed in our photo’s. We don’t have a ‘bells and whistles’ showroom to sell you the dream kitchen but we do have a plethora of slabs to view in our stock yard where we encourage you to pick out your own material.
