Concrete Batching Systems is a leading Manufacturer of Concrete Batching Plants throughout the UK.
Last year we designed, manufactured & installed one of the largest batching plants in England.
Due to the successful growth of the company, we are looking for a Store/Yard Person interested in joining a dynamic, forward-thinking company.
Concrete Batching Systems have a fully equipped manufacturing facility with modern CNC equipment including Laser cutter, brake, lathes, mills and saws, a fabrication and welding shop as well as a shot-blasting and powder coating plant. This allows us to design, manufacture and assemble our bespoke machinery in house.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
-Receiving and offloading deliveries at goods inwards
-Checking delivery notes & following up any discrepancies
-Checking the quality of goods in against specification criteria
-Generating GRN’s
-Developing and maintaining Kitting stock and systems
-Stock Rotation
-Stocktaking, stock control and stock checks while maintaining accurate system information
-Preparing packages and pallets for dispatch
-Maintaining yard ensuring everything has an allocated location
-Management of galvanised loads ensuring everything is labelled on receipt back to yard
-Always Keeping stores and yard area clean and clear.
-Delivery and Collection of goods off site
-Ad-hoc duties as they arise
Requirements:
-Full Driving Licence
-Experience of working within manufacturing or engineering industry
-Educated to GCSE level
-Forklift truck licence for counterbalance and reach truck
-Basic IT skill’s
-Good communication & teamworking skills
-Ensure safety procedures are always followed
