Our client wanted a space that felt fresh, calm and modern, while still being practical for everyday life. The finished room now has that clean, hotel-style feel, with soft grey tones, glossy finishes and thoughtful features that make daily routines feel easier and more enjoyable.

The room has been designed around a beautifully spacious 1800 x 900 stone resin shower tray, opened up with a sleek 700 screen and flipper so the shower area feels bright, generous and easy to step into. Finished with the LEONA double pole thermostatic shower, the space has that polished spa-like feel while still being wonderfully practical for everyday use. The anthracite 1100 combination unit brings a rich, modern contrast beneath the 1100 left-hand sink, with Belini ROUND taps adding a soft chrome finish that ties in beautifully with the shower and towel warmer. A comfort height toilet, a 1600 x 500 towel warmer radiator and those carefully chosen grey finishes all work together to create a bathroom that feels calm, considered and quietly luxurious, while still giving the comfort and ease our client needed.

The floor was finished in Concrete Grey, paired with grey marble-to-grey and metallic grey-to-grey wall finishes only, giving the whole room a soft, coordinated and contemporary feel. The gloss white ceiling and spotlights brighten the space beautifully, making it feel clean, open and relaxing.

This bathroom transformation in BD22 is a lovely example of how the right design can make a space feel brighter, calmer and much easier to enjoy every day.

Our client wanted a fresh, modern bathroom that still felt practical, comfortable and easy to maintain. The kind of room that works beautifully around real life, busy mornings and relaxing evenings.

Working with the existing layout, we carefully designed the room around the windows, shower area and storage to create a calm, elegant space with a more high-end feel. The generous 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray brings a sleek, spa-inspired finish. It is complemented by an 800-shower screen and flipper unit, enhancing the sense of openness while giving the room a bright, beautifully refined finish. Polished chrome details run throughout the design, from the thermostatic double pole shower to the chrome taps and waste, while the 1600 x 500 towel warmer adds a touch of everyday luxury and comfort.

For the vanity area, we installed a 500 white two-door basin unit, giving the bathroom useful storage while keeping the look simple, bright and uncluttered. The standalone W/C unit was paired with a square comfort height toilet and soft close seat, making the space feel more comfortable, practical and user-friendly without compromising on style.

To accomplish the final look, we brought together white sparkle panels for the walls, rich dark oak for the flooring to create a bathroom that feels bright, polished and beautifully considered. Behind the finished design, every practical detail was carefully planned, with pipework discreetly sunken into the walls where possible and radiator pipes neatly placed within the wall boxing. A small section of boxing was retained behind the W/C where required, while a carefully positioned post in the window area allows the shower screen to sit securely and seamlessly within the overall design.

A new ceiling with two spotlights and a new pull cord completed the room, giving it a brighter, cleaner and more finished feel from top to bottom.

The bathroom now feels fresh, modern and easy to live, with a beautiful mix of sparkle, chrome, dark oak and crisp white pieces that gives the whole space a calm, polished feel.

This week’s bathroom makeover in LN11 is one we are extremely proud to share. A beautiful, calming space designed with comfort, style and everyday wellbeing in mind.

Our brief from the client was a bathroom that felt warm, elegant and easy to enjoy. What BD Bathroom Design provided was somewhere that looked luxurious, but still felt reasonable, peaceful and personal.

We began by creating a space that would feel as good to use as it looks. The 1700 left-hand L-shape bath with matching screen gives the room a practical place to bathe and shower, without losing any of its sense of style. The bronze double pole thermostatic shower brings comfort, ease and confidence to everyday routines. We also chose to include a comfort height toilet and seat, because a truly beautiful bathroom should do more than impress at first glance. It should support you, comfort you and make daily life feel that little bit easier. To bring warmth and softness into the room, we added a sage green vanity unit, basin and matching WC unit, along with a bronze 1600x500 towel warmer radiator. Together, these details create a gentle, calming balance against the bold emerald wall and warm bronze accessories, helping the whole space feel peaceful, personal and made to be enjoyed every single day.

The finishing touches are what give this bathroom its sense of luxury. The deep emerald feature panels bring richness and character, while the frost white walls and gloss white ceiling keep the room feeling bright, open and fresh. One more beautiful conversion for our customers in HU17, and one we are really proud of. Simple, thoughtful changes, but with a huge emotional difference behind them. This bathroom was not just about changing how the room looked. It was about changing how our customer could feel in their own home every single day.

Before, the bathroom still had the old bath to step over, tired white tiles and a shower screen that made the space feel awkward and dated. For anyone who has ever felt unsure getting in or out of the bath, you will know it is not just inconvenient. It can take away a little bit of confidence each time.

The goal was to create a bathroom that felt calmer, safer and easier to use, without making it feel clinical. We wanted the finished room to still feel warm, homely and personal, just better suited to everyday life.

We removed the old bath and replaced it with a 1600 x 700 stone resin shower tray, creating a much more open showering area with a solid, reassuring feel underfoot. It is the kind of change that may look simple in photos but can make such a difference to someone’s daily routine. To complete the shower, we fitted a 700-shower screen with a chrome profile and flipper panel, keeping the shower area practical while still allowing the room to feel open and light. The chrome finish gives everything a clean, fresh edge without taking away from the soft look of the marble.

The final touch was the grey marble walls, which have completely softened the room. Where the before photos show a plain, older bathroom, the after photos show a space that feels brighter, cleaner and far more peaceful. Now our clients have a room they can walk into and feel a little more at ease.

This recent bathroom renovation in HU8 is a beautiful reminder that a bathroom is never just a practical room. It is where busy mornings begin, where long days are washed away, and where a calm, comfortable space can make everyday life feel that little bit more special.

The original bathroom had served its purpose, but it was ready for a softer, brighter and more considered finish. From the before images, the space felt darker and more dated, with heavy wall finishes and fittings that no longer gave the room the fresh, relaxing feel our client wanted.

The BD Bathroom Design brief was to create something warm, elegant and easy to live with a bathroom that still felt practical for everyday family life. But with those little touches of luxury that make the room feel more personal and inviting.

We started by completely reworking the space by removing and a L shape bath and replacing it with a 1600 Straight Line bath, paired with a bath screen to suit, giving the room the comfort of a proper bath while still keeping the area open, clean and shower friendly. One of the standout choices in the finished bathroom is the brass shower and bathing detail. The double pole thermostatic bath filler and shower adds warmth against the beige concrete walls, while the brass finish gives the whole room a softer, more boutique feel than chrome would have done.

The vanity area now has a much softer, more considered feel, with the Alfie 600 unit and wood top bringing warmth into the room. The Koko fluted round sink adds beautiful texture, while the gentle curve of the basin works with the Core mono tall mixer tap to create a focal point that feels calm, feminine and beautifully balanced. Finished with a softly lit round mirror above, this corner of the room brings just the right amount of everyday luxury. We also fitted the SPA rimless open back toilet and cistern, chosen for its clean shape, practical design and easy-to-maintain finish. It sits neatly within the new layout, keeping the room feeling uncluttered and calm. To complete the room, we added a 1600 x 500 brass towel warmer radiator to bring both comfort and style. This gives the bathroom that cosy finishing touch we all appreciate, especially on colder mornings when a warm towel makes all the difference.

Lastly, the flooring was finished in the Quebec, adding a warm wood-style look underfoot and helping soften the overall scheme. Against the beige concrete wall panels, it creates a gentle, spa-like feel without making the room feel cold or overdesigned.

Every detail has been chosen to keep the room feeling neat, calm and uncluttered. The Waterguard closet sink, Waterguard toilet unit and BTW standard height toilet sit beautifully within the compact layout, giving the space a fitted, seamless look. Chrome taps and waste add just the right touch of shine, lifting the finish without overwhelming the room.

To bring that feeling to life, we opened up the space by replacing the old bath with a spacious 1700 x 700 stone resin shower tray, creating a shower area that feels calm, secure and easy to enjoy every day. The Triton T80 EasiFit 8.5KW electric shower was chosen to keep things simple and comfortable, while the 700-shower screen with flipper panel and chrome profile adds a bright, elegant finish that helps the whole room feel lighter, more open and beautifully cared for.

We also added two grab rails for extra support and peace of mind. They are practical details, but they make such an emotional difference. This helps the bathroom feel safer, steadier and more reassuring without taking away from the overall look. The walls were finished in Concrete Beige, bringing warmth and softness into the room, while the Grey Ash floor adds a fresh, modern contrast that completely lifts the space.
