Haven't posted for a good while, we have been very busy with various projects. But this one for R Preston Garden Design is a belter and one of our favourites to date. Four giant oak frames made in our workshop, one of which to fit the apex in the roof, with 2 pairs of oak doors. Triple glazing all round ensures this room stays warm in winter and cool in summer. Its one hell of a statement structure added to this already wonderfully restored farm house.

A recent job in eastburn, adding some well needed character to this new build.
A solid oak porch with king post truss.
Groundwork kindly done by Max Foxworthy Building & Paving Projects , who will also install the roof covering at a later date.
Made in our workshop and installed on site in less than a day, meaning less disruption for the customer. 🔨🔨

More recent work, some braced and ledged doors, these have been made the old fashioned way, using a centuries old method known as "clinching" where the nail goes all the way through both peices of timber and is bent over to sandwich the timber together.

Along side a kite winder staircase, with oak strings newel posts spindles and handrail redwood risers and treads

All manufactured in our workshop for a wonderful property where the customer has a keen eye for detail and only settles for the best materials available. 🔨🔨🔨🔨

A few pictures of a recent staircase we manufactured and installed.
Oak strings, newel posts handrails and spindles, laminated redwood treads and plywood risers. We were very tight on width on this staircase, so everything had to be scaled down to allow maximum walking room. This meant everything was bespoke, and machined in our workshop.

We recently made this stunning bespoke bathroom unit in our workshop. "Off the shelf" wouldnt work in the space we had, and wouldnt meet customer requirements.
It was kindly sprayed by Chris Harsley Joinery Services. The colour definitely brings the whole bathroom alive. 🔨🔨

We've Been a bit quiet in here recently but we are still busy, with lots of projects on the go. This was a lovely job, making twin seats and table out of solid iroko. With a carving on the table. These should last a good while🔨 🔨🔨

Two external doors made for a farm at gisburn last week.
These doors are made from solid sapele hardwood, Boarded both sides with an insulated core these doors are warm, solid, safe, heavy, and a damn site nicer than plastic.
One with a coded door lock so staff can use it without the need for keys.
Made in our workshop using traditional methods, painted in an aluminium primer. Ready for customer to add whichever colour they choose. 🔨🔨

A recent job in a lovely house in cowling, split the garage to create a boot room, with plenty of storage for coats wellies hats and gloves.
Painted (very well) by the customer themselves.
All made in our workshop and then fitted on site.🔨🔨
