This one was finished a little while back at Ratter house, and its nice to see it finished off with some lovely gates made and fitted by Alexander & Robertson Ltd.
The far off pillar was completely reinstated to widen the entrance and the other was partially stripped and put back together, the repoint fairly finishes it off.

I know I've been a bit quiet on here for a while but I've been a busy boy. The winter was spent at Quanterness, thanks to Willie Harcus where we reinstated the old garden wall that also acts as great shelter for the livestock. All the stone on this one was upcycled from older structures and the old d**e. It was heightened also slightly so in the end over 200 tonne of stone went into it.
She was a fair task but delighted to be asked back.

Only just been back since having the site at the tidied up. Delighted with the blend of new and old material. Many thanks once again to Green and Cameron LTD for the scaffolding, demolition, and clean up, and Norse Stone for extra material on this job.
