“The young ones”.
P**e and Tom, with a combined age less than average age at many companies! With the price of modern equipment usually being astronomical and even the smallest of mistakes often costing many thousands it’s easy for young workers to find themselves overlooked for more experienced candidates. We believe strongly in giving youth a chance, as the right individuals are keen to learn and have a good work ethic. They are maybe few and far between but they do exist. P**e is now driving T18 delivering plant and equipment across the uk. With multiple loads bound for Europe in the coming months, he will soon get the opportunity to gain further experience. Tom has worked for Hunter Harvesting driving a forwarder for a few years now and as he has learnt under Chris’s OCD, Tom can now go to any job in the country able to do a tidy job that keeps customers happy.

At Walker Groundwork’s we are highly conscious of our carbon footprint. We are members of multiple industry bodies who champion green policies and regularly work with blue chip nationwide main contractors who audit our carbon output and our environmentally friendly methods of working.

However this tree was in the way, so Tom had to knock it over….. The digger has AdBlue tho, so it’s ok.
