Proud to announce that we have successfully enrolled Max Nicholson as our first apprentice to Cheviot Construction. It has always been a goal of ours when we had enough workload to take on an apprentice in carpentry and joinery. We have had Max out for a few days on private jobs and he is very enthusiastic, I’m sure he will excel as a joiner and follow in the footsteps of his grandad.

And there’s the difference. Sometimes you just have to roll up the sleeves and do it yourself. Tidying up after other trades again to make sure it’s spotless so and big drew can get a run at the finishings. Doors and facings loaded in today for them to smash it out the park next week.

Delighted to announce we have been awarded the contract from cruden building to build 70 new builds at Jedburgh for SBHA.
Another one ticked off the goal list for this year.
Another extremely busy year ahead for team Cheviot Construction.
To top it all off it’s allowing us to take on a first year apprentice which has always been one of our goals to create more jobs and train up youths through our company.
