A recent job changing a number of face plates and moving sockets to better suit the client’s setup.

The video shows the process sped up including removing the old faceplate, updating the connections, fitting the new finish and the final result once complete.

Not every EICR ends with a long list of faults.

A lot of people worry about booking an Electrical Installation Condition Report because they expect it to uncover endless problems.

The reality? A quality installation that has been looked after can remain safe for many years.

This consumer unit is a great example. Despite its age, the installation was neat, correctly terminated, tested thoroughly and met the required standards, resulting in a Satisfactory report. ✅

EV charger install completed today ⚡

A lot of the cable run on this one was hidden behind bins and garden items, but that doesn’t mean the standard drops.

Everything was moved out the way so the cable could be clipped correctly, supported properly and installed neatly, even in the areas that won’t usually be seen.

For me, it’s important that the work behind the scenes is done to the same standard as the visible finish.
