We’ve been quiet on here but that’s because we’ve been extremely busy on the tools recently ….

Mainly carpet work with a couple of herringbone designs going down including this one that we’ve just completed in Longsleddale .

A lovely old building with a problematic subfloor and not a straight wall in sight .

Correct methods undertaken and the attention to detail that we pride ourselves on produces another quality finish to this Textures UK herringbone floor .

Textures UK - Honey oak Herringbone installed with a mitred single plank border.

After a long period of fitting mostly carpets recently it was nice to get stuck into some design work again.

Although the knees definitely haven’t missed it 😅

Subfloor ground off , twice primed with ardex p51 followed by ardex na smoothing compound and left to dry over the bank holiday weekend .

Ready for us lads to start installing some textures herringbone on Tuesday 👌 .

Thanks to our Pete and Stu at Westmorland flooring for the use of their machine making it a completely dustless task getting rid of the contaminants on this subfloor .
