Another one done, this roof is actually one of the last bits of the old prison on Windermere Road, The House of Correction !
Once again my team have done a cracking job, re-using most of the original slates and replacing old skylights with new conservation roof lights, well done guys.

Looking for an experienced labourer to join our team, ideally aged 23+, needs to have a clean licence, be reliable and keen, able to put a decent shift in Monday to Friday and experienced in driving a tipper truck would be an advantage.
This would be on a self employed basis for 3 months then hopefully for the right person full time employment with pension and uniform provided. Hourly rate negotiable, 38 hours per week.
Reliability is key alongside the willingness to work, please don't bother if this is not you...

A little bit of what we do...out with the old and in with the new, full box gutter replacement including new ply decking, building paper, code 6 lead sheet with welded expansion joints. Just the slates to put back and we're done ✔️

A little bit of progress on the box gutter today, slates stripped out both sides, old lead stripped out, timber decking ...

A little bit of progress on the box gutter today, slates stripped out both sides, old lead stripped out, timber decking made good and replaced where needed then covered in new ply, building paper and new code 6 lead sheet down with welded expansion joints in between to allow for thermal movement.
Fantastic weather for cracking on 🌞😎
