This week has been another varied and productive one for us (as well as the weather!), with a strong focus on habitat management, maintenance, and ongoing land improvement projects.
We’ve spent plenty of time out on the tractors carrying out both mowing and pesticide spraying work, including a rewilding project where we are helping create a future wildflower meadow. The spraying phase is an important step in preparing the site, giving native species the best opportunity to establish and thrive in the seasons ahead.
Alongside this, we’ve continued with hedge planting to enhance boundaries and biodiversity, as well as scrub clearance, fencing removal, and grassland topping across a number of sites. These works all play an important role in improving access, managing vegetation, and supporting healthier landscapes long term.
Our regular maintenance programme has also continued throughout the week, including strimming and targeted pesticide spraying to keep sites tidy, safe, and well managed.
It’s great to see such a wide range of projects progressing, especially those that will deliver lasting environmental benefits in the future.
