As the countdown to Sunday's All-Ireland Final begins, the Ecofill office is proudly dressed in green and red! 💚❤️

From homemade scones and jam to green buns, plenty of treats, and of course the Mayo jersey taking pride of place, there's only one county we're backing this weekend.

Ecofill has strong Mayo roots, so this one means that little bit more to all of us.

After a 75-year wait, here's hoping this is finally Mayo's year to bring Sam home. Whatever happens, it's set to be a fantastic occasion and a brilliant showcase for Gaelic football.

The very best of luck to Mayo on Sunday... from everyone at Ecofill.

👏 Earlier this week, we were proud to host the first of our Ecofill & Persimmon Homes Regional Forums!

It was a pleasure to welcome leaders from Persimmon North West and Scotland as we officially kicked off a nationwide programme of events designed to support the rollout of our new national partnership. 🤝

The afternoon provided an opportunity to share the journey behind the partnership, showcase the results already being achieved on live Persimmon developments, and discuss how innovative earthworks solutions can help unlock commercial, operational and environmental benefits across the business. 🌍🏗️

A huge thank you to everyone who attended for the fantastic engagement, insightful questions and open discussions throughout the afternoon.

🤝 From partnership to project delivery. 🚧

We're proud to share our latest case study with Persimmon Homes Essex, showcasing how innovation is delivering measurable results at the Scarlett Mews development in Tiptree.

Project highlights:
✅ 15,000 tonnes of site-won material diverted from landfill and reused on site
✅ 17,000 tonnes of imported aggregate avoided
✅ Around 3,500 wagon movements removed, reducing disruption to the local community 🚛🏡
✅ Approximately 75 tonnes of CO₂ emissions saved

The success at Tiptree is also helping drive the continued rollout of the Ecofill and Persimmon Homes partnership, with pre-site testing already completed on several further developments across the Essex region.

Supporting Mental Health Awareness Week

Mental Health Awareness Week is a chance for the construction industry to pause and recognise the importance of wellbeing across every role, from site teams to office-based staff.

The pace and pressure of construction can be significant. Tight programmes, changing site conditions, and demanding workloads all contribute to a high-pressure environment where mental health can easily be overlooked.
Creating awareness and encouraging open, normal conversations about how people are feeling helps build stronger, safer and more resilient teams. It also supports better communication, clearer decision-making, and healthier working environments across projects.

Help and guidance is available through the NHS, as well as specialist support from the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, which provides confidential assistance to construction workers and their families.

At Ecofill Group, we recognise that delivering sustainable construction goes beyond materials and methods, it includes supporting the wellbeing of the people behind every project.
