Fabricator/Welder – Steel Frames (Off-Site)
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
Type: Full-time
Start: ASAP

We’re expanding our off-site fabrication facility and need additional Fabricators/Welders to work alongside our existing team building steel frames for mechanical services. We’re open to a range of experience—from semi-skilled improvers to fully coded welders.

- Fabricate and assemble steel frames and brackets to drawings/jigs
- MIG/MAG welding (ideally)
- Cutting, drilling, grinding; quality checks and basic records
- Work safely and keep a tidy bench

You’ll bring
- Some welding/fab experience (not essential) and accurate measuring skills
- Ability to read simple fabrication drawings (more complex ideal)
- A proactive, reliable approach; strong H&S awareness
- Right to work in the UK

Nice to have
- Coded welds / willingness to test
- Overhead crane/forklift tickets
- Experience in MEP & Steelwork

Another successful complete Riser installed last weekend at our 81 Newgate St. project.

As part of our drive to improve sustainability and reduce waste B&R commissioned a number of re-usable canvas covers so that we could do away with single use heat-shrinked polythene plastic which is normally utilized in the delivery mechanical modules & plant.

We have estimated that in doing so we will save over 9500 square meters of plastic come the end of the project. The covers have been designed to suit a multitude of sizes and can therefore be used on future projects ensuring the plastic savings continue to increase project by project.
