Diamond Edge recently completed a series of precision openings in the ground floor slab in Oxford, preparing for drainage installation and future piling works.

Using a 3-phase floor saw, the team delivered clean, accurate cuts while maintaining efficiency on site.

Another scanner base successfully removed to make way for a brand-new upgrade.
Our team carefully cut out the steel cage and concrete slab in a live hospital environment, taking every precaution to ensure zero disruption to patients and staff.

Doorway opening completed for a valued regular client.
This one proved to be a real challenge.

Not because of the material itself, but due to the complex wall structure. The wall was made up of interconnected layers: render, insulation, reinforced concrete, more insulation, and another layer of render. To achieve a clean and precise finish, the opening had to be cut from both sides.

Another quality result delivered safely and efficiently by our team.

🚧 Job Update – 💪

We’ve just wrapped up a small but solid job for our friends at CareyBrothers 🙌

✅ Diamond drilled a 1m x 1m opening through a 600mm reinforced concrete slab for a future submersible pump install.
✅ Diamond cut a trench leading to the drainage system in the car park/basement.

The works were carried out to help fix the issue with groundwater build-up outside the car park 💧

There’s one hole-through-wall still to go, but we’ll take care of that when the pump gets installed to avoid any unwanted water breakthrough 🌊

🔹 At Bristol GWR we drilled holes for new railings.
🔹 At Etches Park in Derby we drilled 800 holes for bolt plates in just two and a half days – hitting rebar on about 75% of them! 🚆💪
