Let’s talk about cost plans!
Cost plans are as important for residential extensions as they are for large housing developments.
Cost plans are completed prior to obtaining a quote from a builder or contractor, and provide a breakdown of likely costs for each element of the build. This gives the client a more accurate place to start when it comes to budget management and can help identify risks and possible cost overruns before construction begins.
As the project develops and more information becomes available they can also help re-distribute your funds to the areas of the build most important to you, for example, opting for a budget friendly kitchen sink so you can afford those beautiful floor tiles you’ve had your eye on.
