I can certainly see the benefits of all that rain yesterday, the gardens feel much more spongy! Today I reduced the height/neatened the side of a Laurel hedge, cleared leaves from a back garden, skimmed over the weeds of a lawn and tidied up a border.

With bank holiday due on Monday and a few days more of childcare (finally go back to school then!) I won’t be back in the gardens till Thursday next week.

🍂 We are finally getting some rain and the lawns will soon start the recovery process after a dry and hot summer. If your lawn is badly in need of some tlc, we are here to help!

A lot of lawns will be bare, with dry grass. This dry grass will end up becoming thatch and will impact the quality of the lawns regrowth. Scarifying this dead grass and thatch out of the lawn will help the roots get more moisture and oxygen to bounce back.

We at Green&Tidy offer a lawn repair service. We can scarify, aerate, top dress, over-seed and feed lawns to help them get back to a healthy state.

Attached with this post are picture of lawns we have worked on over the past few years and how they improved after this treatment.

Weekly update - We are out gardening from Wednesday - Friday this week due to childcare commitments. We have added in missed appointments from Monday/Tuesday into these days. We are fully booked.

Yet another warm week last week 😠, but looks a little bit more forgiving this week. Still no signs of rain on the horizon though!
