Saturday was one of those days that reminds you what it’s all about. 🖤💛⚽️

Last year, DP Plastering were proud to sponsor Stourport Swifts Under 9s, and this weekend we had the privilege of attending their presentation day as we continue our sponsorship into another season.

What a day it was.

Kids everywhere having the time of their lives, bouncy castles, great food, plenty of laughs, and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. We attended with the DP team and proudly wore our DP polo shirts, representing a business that started with nothing more than a dream, hard work and a belief that one day we’d build something special.

Seeing the DP banner at the ground and the young players wearing shirts carrying our name filled us with pride. Not because our logo was on display, but because we know what this club stands for.

The three coaches who run Stourport Swifts are genuinely incredible people. They give up countless hours of their own time, not for recognition or reward, but simply because they care. Their passion, commitment and dedication to these children is something to be admired. The positive environment they’ve created is a credit to every single one of them.

As parents ourselves, supporting things like this means a lot to us. Seeing children grow in confidence, build friendships and create memories that will stay with them for life is priceless.

To top it all off, myself and Minooch were presented with framed DP shirts as a thank you for our support. A gesture we’ll never forget. Those shirts will proudly take pride of place in the DP office and one day, when we move into that bigger office we’ve always dreamed of, they’ll be hanging there too as a reminder of where we came from and the people we’ve met along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone at Stourport Swifts, the coaches, the parents and all the young players for making us feel part of the family.

Another exciting project underway for the DP team in Cookley. 💛🖤

We’ve now completed the full knock-off of the existing render, taking the property right back to a solid substrate and preparing everything correctly for the new K Rend system. No shortcuts, no cutting corners – just proper preparation to ensure a finish that’s built to last.

With all elevations cleaned down, beaded and ready, we’ll now be moving onto the basecoating stage, where reinforcement mesh is embedded throughout to provide strength and help accommodate natural movement within the property.

The groundwork is what makes the difference, and we take pride in getting every stage right before the final finish is applied.

Keep an eye on the page for progress photos over the coming days as this property starts its transformation. 👀

This front elevation has been refreshed in K Rend K1 Fintry Stone, giving the property a much cleaner, brighter and more modern appearance while keeping the existing brick features that help give the bungalow its character.

Another one wrapped up by the DP team.

This small extension has been finished in K Rend K1 Silicone White, leaving it with a clean, sharp finish that’s built to last and looks a million times better than what was there before.

A lot of people think we only take on the big rendering jobs, but that’s not the case. Whether it’s a small extension, a garden wall, a gable end or a full property, we bring the same standards and attention to detail to every job we do.

We’re a local team of K Rend Approved Applicators who specialise in rendering day in, day out. No shortcuts, no cutting corners, just proper preparation and quality workmanship from start to finish.
