Some jobs just need taking right back to the start 🔨

After multiple attempts by others to get this watertight, it was clear this one needed doing properly. We carried out extensive joiner work to create the correct falls, giving the water somewhere to go — not somewhere to sit.

Once that was sorted, we applied a modern liquid plastic roofing system, locking everything in and making it properly watertight 💧

To finish it off, we tied it back into the traditional slate work, achieving a clean, streamlined finish that blends old with new perfectly.

Done right, built to last 💪

Another challenging project completed on a Code 5 lead parapet.

Delays along the way due to poor weather made things difficult at times, and with the condition of the building it often felt like starting from scratch.

A real mix of trades involved on this one — brickwork, joinery, traditional slating, and lead work — all brought together on a structure that’s far from level or straight.

Big thanks to the client as well — being understanding throughout made the whole process that much easier.

Not an easy job, but good to get it completed to a high standard.
