Cracking morning at CEF tech talk, Newmarket. Talking through the changes to the updated 18th edition BS7671 amendment 4.
Great to see so many electricians and suppliers at this event, caught up with colleagues I haven’t seen for a while and also an old college tutor of mine.

Another EVCP installed this week.
I have installed a few different brands of electric vehicle charging points but I have to say, this Hypervolt charger was very user friendly and easy to set up after installation.

We have been carrying out a re-wire this past week. Here are a couple of little surprises that we found.

CCTV installation today.

3 cameras covering all areas necessary, hard wired back to 3TB hard drive to record.
All fully motion detected which can be set to avoid nuisance notifications.
This system has been connected via HDMI to the customers TV but can also be viewed on any smart phone from anywhere in the world via the internet.
As you can see the picture quality is brilliant
