Balancing precision with craftsmanship ✍️

These preliminary sketches for a new padel barn explore a clear, functional structure 🏗️.

The design introduces additional accommodation including changing rooms and WCs, supporting the needs of the wider facility.

A steel portal-frame forms the basis of the building, with corrugated metal roofing, selective timber cladding, and open or mesh-sided lower walls to keep the court space naturally ventilated.

Farm ED H**p Barn Open Day 🤩!

Join us on 9th June to be amongst the first to see the innovative, h**p-built eco-conference building, Little Barn at FarmED 🌱.

Built using h**p, the barn showcases how crops can move beyond the field to become part of eco-friendly construction, supporting a shift toward renewable, bio-based building systems.

During the afternoon you will also be able to meet research partners, and other professionals associated with the building who bring data, analysis, and practical experience of this innovative crop.
