Four mature Apple trees we transplanted last year blossoming away in the new orchard. Pruned before the move, carefully dug holes in the wildflower meadow (with the help of some heavy machinery), bio-char and Mycorrhiza added to support root growth and mulch rings to regulate water and soil temperature. Finished off with Sweet chestnut cleft stakes and static rubber to provide the support 🤝 🌳🌸🌷

Something a little different and festive, a feature tree for this regulars big family Christmas. 17ft tree locally sourced, felled and erected in a concrete drainage sleeve that can be re-covered by turf until next year (when I’ll take a bigger trailer 😉) 🎄
