Styled to look like the coastal footpath signs, made from solid oak and built to last a lifetime. It comes as a 5ft double sign hanger or a 2.5ft single sing hanger. Each sign can be personalised to say a favorite beach, a special date or any 20 characters.

We recently worked with Public House Group , a growing hospitality group behind a collection of distinctive pubs and dining venues.

The brief was to create practical safety signage that complemented the character and quality of each venue, offering a considered alternative to conventional plastic wet floor signs.

Handcrafted from solid oak, the A-boards combine durability and functionality with a premium finish, allowing essential safety signage to become part of the venue’s overall aesthetic.

The boards were created for venues including The Pelican, The Bull, The Hero, The Fat Badger and The Hart.

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Woodworking Workshop Assistant to join our growing team at Grain Designs!

Based at our countryside workshop at The Mounts, this is a full-time, permanent position with full training provided, including CNC machining. We’re looking for someone with a keen interest in woodworking and some practical experience, along with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for producing high-quality products.

New colour options are now available across our signage range ☺️

Our silver reflective paint has been a favourite, but we know it isn’t the right fit for every project. So we’ve added a couple of new options to give you more choice.

🖤 Black Reflective offers a clean, bold finish with great contrast during the day while still providing excellent visibility at night.

🤎 Brown is perfect if you’re after something more subtle and natural, adding definition to the engraving while keeping an organic look.

All colour options are now live on the website across our full signage collection. We can’t wait to see which finishes you choose for your projects.

We recently had an order for some signage from Pentland Shepherd Huts, and as Scotland and Edinburgh had been on our bucket list for so long, we decided to personally deliver the signage ourselves — and use it as the perfect excuse to stay in their spectacular corner of the Pentland Hills.

We honestly had the best stay. Lovley Lyn and Simon are the perfect hosts and have created such a beautiful, peaceful space. The huts are fully equipped, beautifully clean, cosy, and perfectly positioned for exploring both Edinburgh city and the incredible nature surrounding it.

We genuinely couldn’t recommend it more highly as a place to stay… and of course, a great spot to visit some Grain Designs signage too 😄✨

L👀k what’s arrived!

We’re so pleased with our gorgeous new sign, beautifully made by the brilliant team at Grain Designs.

It’s taken us three years to feel ready to put a proper statement sign at the top of the drive (it’s 120 cms wide so you can’t miss it!) but now it’s here, we couldn’t be happier.

What do you think? 💛

Ps: I might have tweaked the photo & added some grass as we need to sort that part out 😆
