Wrapped up this install recently. 16 Aiko all-black 515w panels on a flat roof, sat on a Van der Valk ballasted mounting system, so no roof penetrations needed. The weight of the kit keeps it in place.
These are feeding into an Anker Solix X1 inverter with 20kWh of battery storage (pictured in the plant room, ticking along at 20% with 2.2kW coming in). 🌞
We're fitting more of the Anker Solix units lately, especially for anything near the coast. The X1 has an IP66 rating and a C5 anti-corrosion classification, which is the top of the scale for salt-air resistance. A lot of inverters struggle within sight of the sea after a few winters. This one is built for it.
