Just a little job from last month helping install windows that were too large to be transported through the house.
The crane sat perfectly on the small driveway, was erected in around 40 minutes and went straight to work. 💪🏽🏗️
This was a contract lift, so we took care of all the planning, paperwork and lifting, making the process simple for the team on site.
Once the windows were safely installed, we moved multiple pallets of slabs to the rear of the property, removing the battle of working around tight scaffolding and restricted access.
A straightforward job, completed safely and efficiently, and another example of where a mobile tower crane can save time, labour and a lot of head scratching.

A big week for HiLo Cranes supporting on this beautiful South Hams project.

WMC brought us in to lift out a section of roof, drop in vaulted steel trusses, and get it all sealed back up — all within the week.
Watching their team work alongside our operator was class. Proper teamwork, proper finish.

With early darkness rolling in, HiLo gave the site a major edge: safe lighting through dusk and into the evenings, enabling the keeping of the property watertight and secure every night.

Safety wins this week:
• No manual handling of steels
• Clean, precise lifting
• Reduced ladder work
• Better visibility on site from 4pm onwards

Just another day in the office for HiLo Cranes 🚧💪

It’s had its ups and downs… but mostly ups!

✅ Installed 3 awkward glass panes (219 kg each) at 7.2 m reach — no sweat for the trailer crane. Smashed it… but not literally 👌
✅ Dropped in 300 kg corten steel planters — lift sheet never lies. In, set, ready for the gardeners.
✅ Moved a micro digger between bays on another site — MUCH quicker, MUCH easier than you’d imagine.
✅ Offloaded 13 t of beams from an artic in Salcombe — stacked, safe, and ready for install. Contractors reckon it’ll be a one-man job with the mobile tower crane on site…… but that would be lonely! Just know the heavy lifting’s handled and productivity is up there! 🏗️🔥🏗️👌🏼

No drama. No stress.
