🧱Hilderstone job 🧱
The Client wanted a solution to there garden slipping away on to the vilage hall carpark. This land slippage was taking there flower bed and fence with it, So we stepped in and came up with a gabion basket wall with added drainage behind.
🧱 Clear existing fence and trees and bushes to make way for the new gabion wall footing.
🧱 Dig out and remove 80 tons of soil.from site .
🧱 Mark out and dig footing to a depth of 550 below finish level.
🧱 Install Geotextile.membrane and lay and compact footing in 150mm layers.
🧱 Build and fit baskets onto the new footing tieing them together and marking out post sleves for the new fence
🧱 fill and face baskets with gabion stone aprox 80 tons went into this job with a wall length of 48 meters
🧱 Install new close board fence 5ft in height to match into existing fencing
🧱 Make good to site.
A great cost effective solution to retaining ground aswell as looking the part when care is taken to face the fronts off 👌
