🚿 BATHROOM TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE ✅

Another full rip-out and rebuild completed by Kingston Plumbing… and this one needed more than just a fresh look 👇

This bathroom was taken right back to bare bones. Once we got stuck in, we uncovered deeper issues that had to be put right properly — no shortcuts.

🔧 What we did:
• Full bathroom rip-out
• Replaced 3 damaged joists
• Installed all new floorboards
• Prepped walls and floor ready for tiling
• Tiles grouted using resin grout (Long lasting, mould-free, stain-free, and doesn't discolour - unlike cement based grout)
• Full coordination of all trades
(plastering, electrics, tiling & waste removal)

🔧 JOIST REPAIR – HIDDEN PROBLEMS FOUND & FIXED 🔧

This is exactly why a proper renovation matters…

Once we removed the bath and flooring in this bathroom, we uncovered some serious issues hiding underneath 👇

❌ Multiple floorboards completely rotten
❌ 3 joists soaking wet and heavily damaged
❌ 2 joists so weak they literally snapped under weight

Honestly, it was only the good joists holding everything together 😳

Left like this, it wouldn’t have been long before the floor gave way completely — not something you want in your bathroom!

✅ All damaged joists replaced
✅ New solid flooring installed
✅ Floor prepped for tiling (Cement backer boards)
✅ Strong, safe foundation ready for the new bathroom
