It is estimated that 40% of all energy wasted at home, is lost through draughty windows, doors, and conservatories. As such, we have seen an influx of clients looking to replace their old conservatory roofing with an energy-efficient alternative. Today, there are 3 main roofing options to choose from when designing a conservatory - the traditional polycarbonate roof (thought to represent 95% of conservatories built over the last 25 years), the upmarket alternative to polycarbonate - glass, or in more recent years, lightweight energy efficient tiles.
